New Player stuck on Create Cedar Shortbow quest

Hello, so far the game looks great. I did the bronze metal bar quest and everything went fine. I then took the woodworking quest and headed out, gathered some cedar wood, made some cedar boards then while standing next to the woodworking bench, I equipped the refurbished cedar board plane that was automatically give to me. The create screen shows everything is ok, except the board plane slot. It still shows red even though I have the plane equipped. I cant create the cedar short bow because its not noticing that I have the plane equipped. Am I doing something wrong here?

I am having exactly the same problem, any solution?

The refurbished tools are new so they may have bugged that one on creation. Try porting out to New Trish, if not there buy a player made one and see if that works.

So it is possible to get back to the island after you have left it?

As long as you do not bind off the Island you can recall. I want to say also a attunement quest was added. But I am not sure as I am a old dragon and never tried to get out to that island yet my self.
