(Small) Snowy Pine Trees in planning

Can we get a true to size representation of these trees in planning? With the current border planning bug it is impossible to plan these trees because they are using a FAR larger representation size than they actually are. Even if the border planning bug wasn't there it would take some mighty guesswork that went into planning these trees accurately.

All snowy pine trees are way out of whack compared to their real size.

Any word on when the border bug might be fixed? I deleted some trees from my plot to move other structures and now I can't put them back so I'm stuck with the novians in my vault. I know a few other people with the same problem.
