Configuring Hard Drives to Optimize HZ

Have a striped raid (2 74 GB Raptors) and a single SATA 40 GB also. I heard that for page file usage that it should be kept on a different drive than HZ...so

Where to install OS, HZ and pagefiles to get best performance/speed?

System has 4 GB ram; so not sure how bad the pagefile usage will be anyway.

Depends where you want your performance:

A. Best OS/game performance-
raptor stripe: OS, Pagefile
40gb sata: hz

B. Best game performance-
raptor stripe: hz
40gb sata: OS, pagefile

With that much ram I would make your pagefile static at 2gb max/min. Yes, folks will say this is overkill, but it leaves out the possibility that some apps actually demand there be a pagefile - and you will have enough room for it.
