    Does this when trying to make character. HELP

    A quick Google search tells me this error means you are running .NET programs without having it installed. Surf to Windows update and patch .NET layer to your system. Horizons requires at least version 1.1 I think.

    Also when logging on uncheck the .net box and see if you are able to get logged on. I know I have problems trying to log on with .net (even though I have the latest version installed).
