    Default Newbie Question

    Greetings, and well met.

I created a dragon the other day, Krymdrac (Order Server).
And I love it. Got to level 9 Adventurer, and 8 Crafter.
    But I do have questions.

I noticed that reading the boards tells you to ask on the new player channel or the dragon channel, and I want to do that.

But how do you set it to listen to those channels, or ask questions on them?

I went through the tutorial, and it showed me a list of the channels, but I closed it not really thinking. And now that I have questions, I need someone to play "Radio Shack" and give me answers.

    Anyway, thanks in advance.
    Dragons are GREAT!

Under in the chatbox click at the "speechbubble" you get a list of channels, just select channel and choose join.

    Thanks Sigi.

So that's how I join. How do I speak in those channels? (instead of just in general talking)

I'll look at it again later, hopefully I can figure it out. If not, I'll be back here.

Once you join the channel, click on that channel's tab, then you can start typing away like a dervish in it.

Ah! It creates a new tab! Here I was, typing all sorts of things into the regular window, thinking I could find some way to talk to you all....and there's a different tab!!!!

    Right before my eyes!

    I gotta start looking more!

    Thanks for the help!

You can also chat from one tab into the channel that is displayed in an other tab/window.
Just type /chat <chatname> <message> and the message appears in that chat.

Also you can combine channels in Tabs (right click and choos "chat settings")
or set a default command for a window with several tabs in it.
f.ex. you have a window with 5 chats in one tab together (to listen all without tabbing around), but by default you want your words be driven into the market channel, then you go into the preferences and set the default chat command to "/chat market"
Now every word yiu type in the tab window with the 5 chats displayed go by default into the market.
