"Horizons is not installed....."

Had to reinstall windows today, afterwards restored the start menu/application data etc settings from original user to new user.

Every time I try to run horizons from the final part of the web login screen I get the "Horizons in not installed..." error message.

Is there any way to fix this without having to re-download and re-install horizons. All the horizon files are intact so nothing has been deleted.

Did you try going to the horizon folders and setting up a new shortcut to your desktop or taskbar? Try login in with a new shortcut. It might help.

sounds to me that all the game files are intact what is missing is the settings in the windows registry. There is nothing for windows to reference with for the game.

Think you can get round this by running the standalone clientinstaller.exe application from the US site (33mb in size)

It wont download all the game files again cos the files are already there but should setup the registry files again
