Cleric Quest Heart of Tremendous Ruxus

Okay I finally made it past the first cleric quest. They finally fixed it. Now I am at the part where I have to get a heart from a tremendous ruxus. Prob is there are no tremenduous ruxus where they are supposed to be. It seems they are only in 1 place in Istaria. That is outside of Brist with the large and regular ruxus. Why don't these things spawn? I know I have killed them before in the exact same spot. Any suggestions would be greatful. Thanks.

There are two regions where tremendous ruxii spawn, and I believe the spawns are linked. The first zone is the southern top of Dalimond Ridge (the north top spawns only large ruxii). The second zone is to the west, a wide ledge that you need to drop down onto. I'll illustrate with this map:
