As I recall in moderatly recent patch notes, Lava Golems stopped dropping gems. I went to hunt them lately, and they drop trophies and tech comps faster than I've ever seen. A short run of them yeilded me over 25 trophies and 20 tech comps. I tested a few other TIV mobs, and the same ammount of kills got me 2 trophies and 4 tech comps.
