Peaches is by far the most fair minded moderator we have ever had. She actually takes the time to consider the opinions of posters before moderating. She will give everyone a fair shake and try to do her job at the same time. If anyone wants to slam dunk her for this I suggest they consider doing what she does themselves. I couldnt imagine having that responsibility. I support Peaches 110%.

Peaches comes off as a sensitive and caring individual, most unfortunate indeed, since that makes her a target for trolls. I actually find Peaches postings to take the objective viewpoint, I hope you continue your efforts as such.

And to add, our banned friend clearly states on those forums you mention that he intended to send a threat because it was the "loophole" he was looking for to get his account banned. So, in his own explanation, he sees the "No death threats" rule and decides to break it, if we are to believe him, to get his account banned since he can't get it cancelled at the moment. In the same thread he states that it wasn't a death threat.

That's what I'd call talking out of either side of your mouth. "I threatened you for a reason that didn't have anything to do with being threatening, so it wasn't really a threat."

I have zero sympathy. You couldn't pay me $15 a month to threaten someone, especially someone nice.

I believe I just did that very thing in my above post. With which part do you disagree? He stated quite clearly that he intended to send a threat in order to get his account banned. You clearly are not following your own advice.

It is not overblown, you are having trouble understanding the facts of the matter, or their import.

He did not say he intended to send a threat. What he sent was not a threat at all. He meant to violate the rules to get banned. Which he did. But "I hope you die a horrible death" is simply not a threat.

If you think it is, please go back to your local junior college and enroll in English 101.

Either he sent the message to get banned or he didn't. He says that was his intent. The only way it would get him banned is if it was a threat. Therefore, he intended to send a threat.

What may be confusing you is that he has both stated that he intended to send a threat, and in other places that he didn't. Please examine his English yourself and reconcile it. He did what most people do when they get caught up in making a horrible mistake. They wiggle and worm and equivocate.
