I hate to say this but a WHOLE lot of us do not have access to the IRC.

Please announce some other official way to report problems.

You can PM Amadan, myself, use the support ticketing system, post in this thread, email me or almost any of the other staff, and if there are still issues we will resolve them as quickly as we can.

You missed my point entirely. Lots of people do not go to these forums and at the "Log In" page is the following message:

IRC can not be the only official announced way to report a problem.

I was on the forums durring the day (at work) so I knew of the problem, but I then went home, and wasn't at a computer for about 6 hrs, so, seeing that, well, I logged in at 11pm Mtn. heh Kinda a bit after that.

Now think of the folk that came round the same time/afterwards that go nowhere NEAR the forums. heh See the point?

I still can't log in... to either the web site or the game.

I downloaded the full version of HZ. Then I ran the updater so I'd have
all of my files. Then I put in my credit card info and then started
playing.

I played for a couple of nights, bought a plot in Harro, got all the
scaffolding up and logged out.

When I tried to log back in I get a message saying that I currently
have 1 plot and 0 active accounts. I'd have to make my account actice or
my plot would be auctioned back to the community.

I really don't want to lose my plot or the few silver I'd lose if it
goes to auction (yes a few silver is a lot to me right now). So I figured
I must have put the card info in wrong so I decided I'd try to put it
in again.

When I click "OK" on the message I get kicked back to the login screen
and I get a message that it appears that I'm not logged in. So I type
in my info again and I get the same message about the plot.

If I click "cancel" on the message it takes me to the next page of the
website, where you can choose a char, manage accounts and such. When I
try to manage my account I get kicked back to the main web page with a
message saying that I'm not logged in.

I did everything again to get to that webpage and if I try to do
anything it kicks me out saying I'm not logged in.

How can I put in my credit card info if I can't get logged / stay logged in to the site?

their account maintenance system doesn't work at this time. I'm surprised you even able to enter CC info to play initially. Best PM the author of this thread.

same. i been using the HZ launcher from the folder to log in.

Ok ... I sent in a ticket, and sent off a PM to the originator of this thread.

I also tried starting HZ from whats in the folder. If I use the HZ icon .. it tells me I need to launch from the website.

If I use the launcher icon and i put in my user info it brings up the silent patcher and the silent patcher freezes up on me.

Some sort of after hours notification system would be very helpful, especially considering the european/far east and beyond time zone players.

Noone could, finn did a tracert, and his tracert showed a router down in Phoenix area. Seems that all is ok now though, folks are logging in and the boards are back up!
