PLEASE EII!!!! Can we get a time scale on when we can all play?

Everyone is still getting errors and can't log into game. Some people have been able to bypass the error with bat files, but some cannot. Could someone who is offically from EII please give us a clue as to when this will be fixed? Or at least make an offical statement or something?? Please don't keep us in the dark. Thank you Ishtara

Yeah, it's only been like 24 hours or more now... not like we're paying customers or anything; oh wait, we are! Some information would be nice.

You can play now if you do the following:

There is another way. You can edit your ClientPrefs_launch.def file, which is found in your Horizons/Pref folder. Open it and set the first line, requireCommandLineParams to False. Then put your log in and password in the specified lines below that and save the file.

Then all you need to do is double click your Horizons.exe to launch the game with the last character you had on on that comp.

Thanks to Ranqthas for the heads up on this alternate method. Hehe it's a bit easier than making the bat file.

It will at least let you play the last charactor you used.

it's all workign fine.

at least it was for me, only took at least 30 hours to fix, but that's ok. c'mon be thankful a lil bit, they GOT if fixed didnt they??

and if you all seem to be lost without Hz, lol i'd hate to see what woudl happen if the game got maintnence for 1 week to implement somehtign HUGE!!!...
