We've been running emergency maintenance on the website since late yesterday afternoon and have brought the site back up.

If you are unable to use the website, or want a quick way to log in once you've chosen your character, try using this workaround:

1.) Right click the ClientPrefs_launch.def file, which is located in the Horizons/Pref folder, then open it with notepad or wordpad.

2.)Change the first line from
bool requireCommandLineParams = true

to

bool requireCommandLineParams = false

then edit the following lines:
string userName = "********"
string password = "********"
replace the "*********"'s with your own account email (or username) and password, like this:

userName="[email protected]"
password="gizmo'sPassword"

Back up one level to the C:\Program Files\Tulga Games\Horizons or C:\Program Files\Artifact Games\Horizons folder, locate horizons.exe, and double click, or run the horizons.exe

This will log you in as the character last played on that computer.

Sorry about any misunderstandings.

The website is up and running and fully functional, except for the character creation.

in doing the Work around. uhh..

did any one else's GRaphics in gae get all. hmm, BLAHED..

when you open up your Spellbook, or any of the character sheet's. everythgin as in all TABB's are green.

even when talking the chat tab's are green.

this includes, Quest log's. instead of havign the old fashions Brownish writtign paper brick effect thing's

i have Brigth Green.

now woudl htis be a Log in issue, or a Hardware issue?? plese advise??
