Default The Mad Snowballers' Guide to Making Snowballs

    Preperation:
    1) Be able to make pale or dim orbs, mine salt rock, and have some way of getting water
    2) Bind to Mahagra or Settlement: Heather (Heather has free ports to the racial cities)

    Making the Snowballs:
    1) Go to Mahagra and port to Guild: Sakon
    2) Run/walk northwest to Wisp Isle and fill your inventory with dim essence if you want regular snowballs or pale essence if you want packed sonwballs
    3) Turn all the essence into orbs
    4) Count the orbs and gather that many salt rocks
    5) Recall and go to Sslanis
    6) Go to the well near the portal and get twice as much water as orbs.
6a) If you're a dragon, Get a bi-ped to get you some or find a monster that drops water
    7) Run into the building, past the vault keeper, to the Essence Channeler
    8) Make some snowballs
    9) Throw them at people

I believe the Water Golems south east of Kion around the Lakes area drop water. Least they used to.

And, does not this entire process require the Snowball form?

They don't drop water anymore... found that out the hard way doing the AROP when you needed "water" for part of the quest...

They removed that... and 'sand' from the drops.

    whaaat???

Then that is one of the latest updates... on unity they still drop sand & water, I am sure about that....

There are smaller water golems in the north, maybe they are worth a try?

packed ones are T2... and you can loot that normal ones on many mobs...

So that packed onces surely rule much more than that normal, which every one can have

That's not the point. The point is it's fun

Besides, there's been fights where I survived with less than 10 hp left... if I hadn't had the snowball effect on me, I'd have earned a DP

People seem to forget also... even after you have the "gift" effect on you...

Each snowball heals between 1-25 points of damage (randomly) for the tier 1, have no idea what the heal range of tier 2 snowballs give. So in a pinch, you can hotkey 100 snowballs and just pelt away to remove the damage (much faster than using a breeze or HoT spell or ability)

It has a cooooool spelleffect of throwing that snowball and it is really fun to stand in the middle of kion or brustigo, throwing snowballs on all kind of people passing by...

It's even cooler, if someone just throws back.. hehe

i'm not sure, but it may be that you have to have the snowball effect or a healing-over-time effect on in order to get the extra heals from the snowballs when they are thrown at you? i think i've seen it sometimes not register healing someone before, but i'm not sure why.

The form is a low-level mob-drop, fortunately not that rare. Good luck!
