Tagath's Rite of Passage

As many of you may know, Tagath is my dragon. He was the one who introduced me to the game of Horizons back in 2003. He's allowed me to work up in the construction schools for some time, taking up only as much time as necessary to get himself a lair and do some of the construction on it. These past weeks have been different though. He has been working at a feverish pace to get to adventure 50, get his last set of hatchling scales, and work on his Rite of Passage.

It gives me great pleasure to announce that he has gotten the scales and made both his Lunus Phylactery and adult statue. His last tasks are Kaa the Shade, Lem the Cold, and the Shadow Dragon. For these last combats, he is waiting on one of our guildmates, Denrath, to return from Iraq. Then and only then is he going to continue with these battles. He does want to thank all those who have helped him thus far with his quests along the way as well as those who've volunteered to go along on these hunts. Rest assured that these hunts will be planned outings to allow as many to help.

I have more good news. I spoke with Denrath today. He's home from Iraq and getting to spend the holiday weekend relaxing before another round of classes here in the States. Aside from the 115 degree temperatures, he's come through it unscathed. Though he did not request it, I would ask that everyone please pray for the safety of his unit, which is still deployed in Iraq, as well as all the rest of our military personnel there. These heroes of this country are serving long, difficult, and dangerous hours, days, weeks, and months over there and deserve our continued love and respect, particularly this Memorial Day weekend.

Let's all go out and hug a current or past member of the military!
