Problems on Chaos

Severe lag, crafting items missing, shard looks like it's down.

If I try to log in to Chaos right now, it says that the server is still down. There's a note on the login that says Chaos is having issues with new account creation and such. So my guess is that they are still working on Chaos and that server's database isn't back up on it's feet yet.

That would explain everything.

2 dp's for one ambrosia? Has anyone else been getting only 1 dp removed when useing ambrosia at the Challenge Tavern. Yes, the apple appeared when I used it. It's happened twice to me and now I'm out of ambrosia

Might have just been lag. For a while until they kicked the server, attacks were appearing way late and other things were severly lagged, but it seems to be ok now, aside from some residual lag, but not like earlier.

They posted that they were taking chaos down this am to make sure it wasn't having db problems.

I blame myself...i reactivated 2 of my accounts to have a look at Chaos while waiting on old Unity char,s.....just got char,s started then Bang...
So blame me i seem to be jinxed

last time i payed for a year had 4-5 months then Bang Unity off line

Sorry about the extra maintenance on Chaos this week. The database issues were a bit trickier to track down than originally anticipated. Turns out they were actually related to an intermittent hardware problem on one of the worldservers that handles a lot of the communication with the database and not a problem with the database itself.

On a positive note it did give us a chance to perform some other maintenance that we had been holding off on.
