Elated that HZ is no longer in the hands of the Infidels.

Now.. I may have to split my time between 2 games... CS:S and HZ...

*read story info and watched trailer*

Eh...looks like a lot of action and little substance. =/

Of course, it's no use judging until actually watching the movie through. Things tend to be contorted in promotional material to entice mainstream viewers.

Hearing that there *is* an actual story behind it motivates me slightly to go. I saw the preview when I went to see The Last Legion (which ROCKED). Okay it was kinda kiddie, but I still loved it.

You know, I don't mean to sound negative. But I worked as a projectionist for 8 years, it was my first job. During that time, I kind of developed a talent of being able to look at a movie trailer and see beyond what they want you to see and get excited about. I watched that trailer 3 times and browsed through the site. Don't get your hopes up for this one. Other than a lot of fancy CGI and action, this looks an extremely shallow movie. Hollywood has a proven track record of taking just about every book/story they touch and stripping anything good out leaving a bunch of dreck behind. Besides, look at the release date. Movies that are released this time of year are just filler. Ones that have been judged not good enough for a summer or Christmas release.

I hope this comes out better than Reign of Fire, with its whopping 22-ish seconds of dragon CGI.

Meh. I was trying to remember the name of that movie. This one kind of makes me think that it almost takes place between Reign of Fire's opening and the ruined world years later. Twas the first thing that came to mind.

I was hoping for a movie about dragons, but the only thing those rampaging giant snakes made me think of was the dangers of abusing Viagra.

Those rampaging snakes are chinese dragons

Yes this will probably be a crappy movie.
but it has dragons, that makes up for any amount of crap.

I actually quite liked Reign of Fire Yes I would have liked to see more dragons, but I was quite happy drooling over Christian Bale

I loved the dragon in Dragonheart.. and it lead to my best friend at the time saying (due to the voiceover) she would still sleep with Sean Connery even if he was 60 feet long and scaly

When Dragonheart came out, I told my mom Sean Connery was the voice of the dragon. She said "That must be a very sexy dragon." Coming from my mom...that was a rather shocking statement.

Nah, my mom loves Sean Connery too

And I also liked Reign of Fire; I was far more concerned with the people than the dragons anyway; it was that kind of a story.

Oh man, DragonHeart is the all time best dragon movie ever made, anyone who wants to disagree I'll break your face <3. I own both the first and the second. The quality of the graphics in the first one are amazing, I still think they are better then a lot of the movies comming out now. The Second one not so much, it was kinda stupid. But the first one always makes me cry. My step kids are convinced Drako is real.

My best memory from Dragonheart is not the dragon, but that kid getting thrown out the window. (that was Dragonheart, right?) I was so floored by that, it was one of those.. !!!! moments I just.. loved it and hated it simultaneously. It's like.. wow. That's like.. poophead evil. I love it.

All you dragon lovers out there and you still miss other movies.

Remember Dragonslayer? Granted, not much dragon scenery, but still had some.

    Dragon Heart: Best ever!
Reign of Fire: I should see this one day...
Dragonslayer: hmm...I think I may have seen it or part of it once on tv..
    Discovery Channel's Dragon Documentary: Awsome
Eargon: Even tho it doesnt follow the book very much, it was a good movie.
Dungeons and Dragons: Lamest movie ever. The only saving grace were that the dragons were good actors.

Yea, I saw Reign of Fire, I didn't like how the dragons were put off as evil things that had to be killed. Dragonslayer, same thing, plus the clips with the dragon in it, it was hard to tell what it was. Discovery's documentary I loved! Soo many people were like, What? Dragons really are real? I was like **** skippy! I told you so. Eragon was awsome, I didn't care for the story much, it was kinda cut and paste from other fantasy stories, but it was good and I love the graphics. D&D Pift, cool dragons though. I think I've pretty much seen all the dragon movies out there, if not give me some titles, I got my Blockbuster card!
