look! I made a crossbow!!

so yeah, made a crossbow out of some junk laying around the shop. still needs a trigger mechanism, has a draw weight of about 3 pounds, i think. i need something to measure it with.

ingredients:
1 windshield wiper
1 16" aluminum window track
1 1/4"x10" metal rod
2 brake springs
2 drams epoxy
1 bit of nylon string

the trigger and catch components are in various parts bins at the garage waiting for me to find and assemble them.
