Error Message

Hi all,

Well i got Horizons installed and patched but now have another problem. Once my son signs into the game and it begins loading it, i get the following error:

Fatal Error: Could not create rendering device. Please check your Direct3D setup: 0 @ C:\client_vs2003\source\ClientErrors.cpp:721

Does any one have any idea what the heck this means and a possible fix please?

Sounds like you are using a graphics card that is not supported.

Hi Silverwolf;

As Kumu says, it sounds like a graphics problem for sure. If you right-click on a blank area of the desktop and click Properties, this will bring up the Display Properties window. Left-click on the Settings tab and this will bring up the window where you set your desktop resolution. About half-way down you'll see a box with "Display:", if you could post what that says here it will help somewhat.

Horizons runs on a wide range of hardware, and we may be able to help get it working for you.
