I can easily see her turning in either direction. The main thing I do in my mind is superimpose a "spinning" sound over it, which is the cue I use to make her switch directions. Takes focus loss for a second to re-sync the sound in my head, but once I do, and after a few reversals, I can do it on cue.

Another trick is to imagine that there are two dancers there, each rotating perfectly in sync with one another, but in opposite directions, then just mentally change focus from one to the other.

I see her spin. The direction of spin is irrelevant. My eyes pick up on the shadow she's casting. IF the extended foot has shadow falling in back, she's spinning counterclockwise. IF the extended foot has shadow falling in front, she's spinning clockwise.

And, yes, depending on the way she spins, she changes legs.

Spins clockwise for me and no matter how hard I focus I cant get her to spin the other way

she switches legs and direction fairly regularly. Spins mainly clockwise then anti, then clockwise again. Seemed very clear to me, and concentrating on "changing" it did nothing
