Official Introduction
Greetings Istarians,
I'd like to take a moment of your time to officially introduce you to our Community Manager, Amarie AncalĂ**mon. Amarie began with us in December, and has been sharing post time with our Customer Service staff - under the Horizons CS name - for a while now. Amarie really needs her own account (and, after all, Horizons CS is kind of a silly name). Amarie will be the central person to contact for community concerns. The Horizons CS account (it's an envelope account for support staff) will be mostly phased out and only used to let you know about specials on car insurance.
Amarie has been active in the community and working behind the scenes keeping the development team apprised of community concerns for the last few months. She'll be helping to manage the newly announced Herald program, as well as continuing to keep a communication link between developer and community.
Be on the look out for February's "From the Developer's Desk." We had to FIND some of the developers under the piles of work they have on their desks before she could compose this month's update, but we do want to make these a regular feature, so a new one will be coming soon.
Please join me in extending a warm welcome to her.
