how to create a new char?

i activated my trial account and now tried to log in

i have no chars so i tried to create one

but it dont work

whats missing?

i click on create char, choose server and then i cant click on: play horizons, its greyed out

please tell a little noob how to play ^^ thx

Did the active X control actually load or was it stopped by windows - check for a message at the top of the screen that says that it has been stopped.

New character is working OK for me.

I assume that you opened your account using the link from the log in page and not an old link.

Other than that send in a ticket.

Just tried just now.

It seems to be looping back to the original page when you hit create button.
Maintenance is today - might be that Virt is working on something.
Suggest that you try again after maintenance and if no luck , send in a ticket.

i used firefox

i tried to create a char today and read the little info that it only works for IE

Yes; I'm afraid you have to use Internet Exploder, as the Horizons front-end relies on Active-X in order to work.

Firefox does not support Active-X: The development team decided it was just too dangerous, security-wise, and it is a decision I normally support whole-heartedly....

....Except for Horizons....

Or get IETAB for fire fix. After you load the activeX control in IE you can go back to firefox just set up the page to autoload as a IE page.
