Thread: toggle overburdening

    Smile toggle overburdening

I know that some of us gets weary of being over burdened when we make that last hit on the resource node before filling up. And worse, we often end up being so overburdoned that we cant move! And end up dumping a few just to be able to move so...

why not add a option to toggle overburding on/off?

    when off:

it would automatically stop harvesting plus, the client would automatically discard just enough amount of resources you been harvesting so that the load would either be less than Maximum bulk capacity or atleast be slightly over the Max but close to it.

    when on:

the client would let you be overburdend just like it is now.

Still a good idea, has been suggested many many many times.

Some even suggested having the option to turn off "bonus resources"

Some suggested "setting the overburden threshold to a value"

    Still a good idea

here is a suggestion that may help. if you take and put a larger crystal of holding in your refining tool you can switch tools quick and unburden yourself quick and without deleting resources. I know this option has been previously unavailable to dragons but with the new changes on the way might be able to implement it with multiple claws.

..is exactly what I do also on both my main toons (now), of course you have to have a Xtal in the first place, not that easy to get hold of compared to some items ..

..follows on also from some of our comments on the Cargo Disk revamp ..specifically, allowing transfer of same 'orig. resource' items between inv and disk, for those times where overburdening unintentionally occurs during processing, you're nowhere near a silo, and you just downgraded your apparel and WHOOPS .. you forgot you swapped the resources to your disk and .. feet firmly planted with nowhere to go ..

..however, an overburdening threshold setting I'd suggest is the best way to go, who would NOT want to get the bonus resources over long hours of gathering!

I speak of the "one tier up" bonus for resources that give them.

If you are collecting pale essence, you don't want glowing essence clogging your inventory.

HOWEVER if you're collecting minnows, you DO probably want Shrimp as it's the only way to get it..

understood Justa, though I got the impression the original poster was talking about bonuses of resources you were wanting .. a toggle for the bonus=tier up or rare resources would be excellent!
