Yesterday night I received the email saying my characters have been transfered. However, it's been more then 12 hours since that and they are not visible on my characters list. Am I missing something here?

Help!!! Do I have to use some option to see them?

Send a ticket.
I know this have happened before VIRT needs to put the links to your chars on the login page, they might have forgotten.

Hm, its a little bit sad that the Players of Unity are now distributed at both servers.
I am thinking about coming back to Hz. But i have Vista and dont want to pay if i could not play.:-/ So lets see what happens.

Use the Vista CD to shrink your Vista partition by 5-7 GB, install a random Win XP in the freed space (choose NTFS), make it dual boot.
You don't even need to copy Horizons there as it'll directly run off the Vista partition.
