Blighted Hounds and Chain Attack

Blighted Hounds are Storm Disciples with Chain Attack ability.
Are they able to use Chain Attack I thru VIII consecutively without pause by design?

Last night I had 4800 Health and went to fight them.
Engaged one Blight Hound. Between the constant Chain Attacks and Multi-strike, I was barely able to move. I went from 4800 health to 0 before I could even deal a couple hundred damage to him.

I went back with my Slash Ward gear on and was able to reliably solo these guys because they couldn't hit me enough.

So, I'm not asking that they be made weaker, just wondering if they are supposed to be using every Chain Attack I thru VIII without pause.

BTW, when in Slash gear, my health was only 3479. Just having high health doesn't always do the job.

Sounds like a bug to me. We'll investigate.

Is this the same bug as mobs being able to flurry a critical strike and cleaves? Getting hit with 3 crits simultaneously isn't cool:P. Some mobs also seem to have no cooldown between any of their abilities that are linked when used by players. Off the top of my head I don't remember which mobs that have that happen, but next time I notice it happening I'll post combat logs.

Specific cases will help. But many times the abilities might be similar as a player ability, but not actually be the same ability. Mobs use the same rules as players for combat, but they aren't tied to player-schools and player-abilities/spells/items.

Lightning Stun is an effect of Lightning Fists (or Lightning Arrows for Rangers and ELARs). 50% chance of 3 second stun on every strike with the specified weapon type (fists or wraps in this case).

Abomination Task Masters hit with a dual critical strike. 2x 1700 damage killed me a few times after taking some hits first. Maybe cleave too, but most of the time I try to keep them stunned, so I can't remember to have seen it

Thanks Rizo. That was the purpose of the original post, to find out if those attacks were supposed to be linked. I made this post in the Questions forum, but it was moved here since it was understood to possibly be a bug.

3 attacks in 4 seconds and then 5 attacks in 9 seconds. These guys really are fast. I can handle one pretty well. As soon as a second one enters the pictures, I'm done for. Lesson learned, don't take on two blighted hounds, even if one is near death.

Abomination Task Masters hit with a dual critical strike. 2x 1700 damage killed me a few times after taking some hits first. Maybe cleave too, but most of the time I try to keep them stunned, so I can't remember to have seen it

I recall seeing multiple hits from ANY abomination attack. which could be by design, i mean they have 4 arms to work with...
