Congrats, Kuleme! In case you haven't looked over the Help section of Dragon Cave or read the FAQ on the official forums, eggs can grow up just fine without being clicked (just views!) but eggs/hatchlings are in danger of sickening and dying if they get too many views too fast. The hatcheries (fan sites dedicated to helping give/receive lots of views efficiently) are very busy because of the holiday, so it's even easier than normal to accidentally kill an egg by leaving it in a hatchery too soon. Dracaena's advice has always worked well for me! Keeping eggs out of any hatchery for a day seems to be a perfect compromise between getting views in time to hatch efficiently without risking illness/death.
Obligatory start-of-page link to scroll:
Thanks Thicklesip! Will keep that in mind!

I was lucky enough to pick up a couple of extra eggs on the delayed drop day. If you were unable to get a Halloween 2012 egg, please PM me with your scroll link (yes I do look to see if you have one) and I will give you one. If I do not hear back from anyone here within three days, I will gift them through the postponed thread on the DC forums.

Made the account roughly a month back. So, pretty much new to that game.
All 6 of my halloween draggies hatched!! Almost lost all but one to sickness.
The adults look amazing, btw. o.o
Omg, that egg is freaking awesome o.o ... Wish me luck getting one!
Swinging by to say Christmas holiday breeding (previous years Christmas dragons) starts in about 1 hour, 15 minutes! Good luck everyone finding what you want in the AP!
I just barely, barely missed a holly egg. I hate that feeling! It took a moment to register what it was, and I missed clicking it a few times. <.< Darn.. back to hunting.
Got one of all the other eggs though. ^^
Hurray! Morrison is back at his house near Bristugo!
And the wisps on wisp isle are moving again!
If you can't see 'em, you know you've got proper invisible runes.
nope Sigi, those are Yulebuck dragons, holly's are these:

due to server lag when they were released, only a few of them were caught, so they're really sought after during Christmas :3

I would desperately love to get a Holly. I keep a list of all the dragons I have; years ago I put hollies in the 'never gonna get' section because even if I am lucky enough to see one of those eggs, I am never quick enough to snag it. If I could just get one, I could breed more in following years.
On a side note, I'm getting frustrated with my lack of dragon cave cooking skills. Does anyone know how to make bread, gravy or sweet potatoes? Or even chocolate? It seems like I've tried a bazillion combinations but I'm not figuring out the key ones required. Edit: never mind about the chocolate, I got that while desperately trying to figure out ice cream...help?

Don't forget to cruise the trading forums in the holly hunts. Arm yourself with some nice cb trading fodder (black, stripe, golden wyvern, blusang, tan ridgewing, red dorsal, maybe winter seasonal to give you ideas) and see what you can scare up. I did amazingly well starting with 2 last day autumns and catching a nebula after starting looking. Beware the dragcave forums are lagging badly (understatement of the year). And don't give up clicking in the AP, there are definitely more hollys around then last year. Good luck everyone!
