hes been hear for a wile but most players on chaos have not seen the named Diamond golem so i decided to take a Pic and post it .

he has massive armor (good choice devs quite fitting for a diamond golem)
his damage output Provides a nice refreshing challenge
when he is cranky he could go toe to toe with umarry and win

how to defeat

Crush resistance scales sog and refreshing breeze right off the bat or his first few hits will do u in have not seen his multi yet so i cant tell you to much about it

That's not T11 Favoran. That's T6. You forget tiers go in 20's. 1-20 =T1 21-40=T2 and so on. 101-120=T6 121-140=T7

You will. Mohs is probably the last time you will see a new golem. I hope, anyway because it is a highly over used model. But he completes the "pattern" that golems follow through the tiers. I do hope that he looks good to everyone because I did rework the texture at Amon's request, the original was not pretty and I tried to get a real diamond look to him with the new texture.

But if you are thinking about entire new models, those are coming too. Granted the ones intended for the labyrinth have been around for a while and are only now going to be introduced, but we are kicking around some ideas for entirely new creatures and Withered Aegis. Aside from a pilot project that I'm doing for a simple creature, little work will be done until after the labyrinth is complete. It is fully our main focus at this time. Then, when players are happily earning DPs in the laby, we are going to take stock of where we are at and fit some new critters in among other improvements that we will be focusing on. More on that at a later date.

I've been debating retexturing these guys... the problem I am facing though is how their texture map is set up. Its kinda messy, not really sure what part is what part of it (Except the head, its obvious).

It does not get much better looking at the UV map of the model. What I would suggest that you do is look at each "blob" in the image and put a number or letter over top of it. Save and put it in your override folder then go visit a golem and take a few screen shots from different angles. You could try overlaying solid colors over top of the blobs, but sometimes the client does not like that and you won't get the results you are expecting.

Well I liked the quicksilver golem shader on Mohs, looked neat. xD But the new diamondy look fits Mr. Bling Bling anyway better.
