I think the best solution for the people that have a broken quest is to give them the end reward (in this case the summuning the blades formula and the components)!
since we have waited already 14 days or more for a solution.

I already personal mailed Luca but get no response!

but why on earth dont make these quest mobs spawn on regular basis instead being instanced?
then all currently broken quests can continue without any CS hassle.

If this case is not resolved soon I will cancel my account since I am already waiting for a response for more than 2 weeks and thats just unacceptable for an EPIC quest that takes months to prepare for and get all the components for!

I never asked much but now I do... and after 400+ levels and being subscribed since december 2003 I think I am entitled to a decent customer support!!
My subscription ends at 6-11-2004 and if this is not resolved than I finally will give up on Horizons!

Sadly dont expect them to change things fast enough for you not to cancel, you can be sure of that.

Yesterday i did my epic quest for Dark Cyclone.....keep in mind i am an ATI user.
I was using 4.10 latest Catalyst drivers.

The quest required of me to go to Floating Island area, needless to say it did not work out good.

I had to install 4.4 Catalyst driver version inorder for Floating Island to work.
Finally i found what i was looking for and killed what i had too....

Got 2 storm essence and 1 tempest phylactery.
Then i spend 1 hour running arround to try to get the third storm essence, the spawn was ZERO. I simply could not find a SINGLE storm wisp.

Lycky for me, a friendly soul gave me my last storm essence so i could make Dark Cyclone. If it was not for her, i would probably be writing an angry post like yours.

its just that this game has THREE real important quests TOTAL,
Dark cyclone, Shining blades, and Right of Passage.
And they succeeded in braking all three of them.

Then they come with the advice to just DELETE a quest that takes
a whole bottle cap collection with extremely RARE caps to start it.

These guys are just taking the piss.. and I keep with my statement,
if I dont have the shining blades spell in my inventory + components before 5-11
I will cancel for good period...

No buts maybes or please or anything will stop it.... enough is enough
a loyal player can only take so much crap.. before it brakes for good!

and I think not reponding to PM's and ignoring a MAJOR game braking issue
that is filed in customer support for 2 weeks.. is just wrong.

Yes they are understaffed... but maybe its better they just pull the plug.

I am very pessimistic at the moment cylian..

But whatever happens you have to know that I also find it a loss to leave you guys,
but enough is enough.... at 5/11 they had 3 weeks to respond and fix my quest or give me the reward, why should I keep paying for a game where the company that runs it does nothing to fix there problems and keeps giving the loyal players the raw deal.

just deleting the shining blades quest and NOT getting a refund is just absolutely unacceptable and says something about the etics of this company and their commitment to their players.

but they still have 2 DAYS to fix it! I will cancel the 5th since the 6th my subscription ends.
But they can fix it also after the 5th while my account is canceled. Its their choice really. But be assured to rejoin a second time I have to be absolutely convinced I dont get fooled a third time!

But Fool me once shame on them, Fool me twice shame on me.. and currently the shame is on me for rejoining their game and being taken for granted again as pure adventurer.

C'mon GN cant you guys see that this is a huge problem, Not just that the game isent working as intended, but you are loosing players of it to just of the little reason of no support. Thats low, and it made me to make a support ticket just to support his support ticket, *Wonders how long it will take before i get a reply*. Just give the dude his Spell all is happy again.

But Rhialto i understand u 100%, just a shame to see you go away now after the merge and all the new fun :( :( :( :( :(

Its not all about the quest, its the pure lack of interest to repair what THEY BROKE!

The spell is there BUT it does not work.. it says you do not meet the requirements
while I am lvl 100 Conjurer.


Tried selecting myself, selecting a monster... both dont work.


made a new case (ticket 30268) and put the same info in the followup of case 29071. Inclusive screenshot!


Maybe I do something wrong ?
or is there something that has to be set to allow my character to cast the spell?

I also replied to the original case 29071.

I made the new case since I dont know if an addon is noticed that quickly. Anyway you can delete case 30268 if 29071 is handled. Sorry for that inconvenience.
