Thread: Stat reduction on the Death Penalty

Default Stat reduction on the Death Penalty

The stat and skill reduction on the death penalty doesn't go below -20% and I seem to remember the notes for the confectioner revamp saying that it'd go as low as -75%

Well, I only noticed because of having 469 death points and a 39 hour penalty that only does -20%

O.O how...? where...? umm... have you been eating right - at all?

I'm just trying to think of where you could sit close enough to a shrine <and> something to kill you to accuumulate that many in a reasonable amount of time. 39 hour penalty?! o.o

Can your inventory hold enough food to get rid of that by macroing yourself for a day...or two?

Quick question, right now, I only have one adventure class and it's below level 20. If I get mage to a high level, will all the death points I've gotten with this low rating take longer to fade away?

Ok, I did some math, and if I don't die any more, then all my death points will be gone on june 16 or 17 of 2009

Face forward and you should be able to hear it now the only thing plugging your ears is your own fear. There is only one enemy and one of you so what is there to be afraid of ? Abandon your fear turn and face him, Don't give an inch. Now advance Never stop If you retreat you will age Be afraid and you'll die NOW SHOUT OUT YOUR NAME !!!

Is the stat reduction tiered like the lifetime of the point?

Oh, and are you *sure* that bumping your 'maximum potential' rating into the next tier doesn't increase the duration of your accumulated death points?

Now, I just have to ask: how the heck can you get over 400 death points? Were you trying to get that many? o_O

469? If this is the same player I'm thinking about, then the count has increased to 700 in the past two days. How DO you do that?

I think he deserves an award for doing all this research into the death penalty, hehe. I also think every confectioner on Chaos should start stocking up on food for that level, lol, poor little bug will be bankrupt.

I think if it is going to take that long to lose all the deathpoints it might be policy to make an entirely new charachter

Even stuffing yourself day and night in a tavern its going to take weeks, if not months to shift all those. Might a kindly dev award this monumentous achievement by consigning it to the history books? (literally and figuratively)

I'm pretty sure he could file a ticket (along with a report of the 'error') and someone would alter that down to a more manegable level.

Or you could always play the game on hard mode I suppose.
