Golden groupers are very old cargo disks that people who preordered Hz back in the days got with every new character created. They look pretty nice

They're a promotional item from the Tulga era, which were available to people doing a free trial through one of the gaming sites - Gamespot, I think (don't quote me). They're great low-level disks, but unfortunatly they are attuned and only available through that free trial.

They were offered through the free trial download through FilePlanet. They have no restrictions on equiping, so a level 1 warrior with no crafting can equip it. They hold 1 stack and 5000 bulk. With the new change they lower run speed by -10. Oh and newbie dragon characters on those accounts start with them also.

When the combined all my toons onto one account, one of the accounts was a Fileplanet trial. He retained his grouper, but when I make a new toon these days I don't get it. Wonder how they figured that out?
