Food icons

I was wondering if we could possibly get a few more finished food icons so that it would be easier to distinguish from appetizers, sides, mains and desserts. I don't know about everyone else, but I find it to be a pain fumbling around the mass stores of my food stalks trying to find the the ones I'm looking for. A slightly different color to indicate what tier it is would be nice too but I'm afraid it might be asking too much.

To make it easy, you could just reuse the old food icons. Appetizers could stay looking like the old jerky. Sides could look like the old soups. Main dishes could look like the old steaks. And desserts could look like the old pies.

Not a bad idea...can this be expanded to include the interim foods?

Example: Husked Corn, Lemon Juice, Lemon Zest all look like Eggs.

All the Vinegars look like water as well.

I know there's a lot of things out there, but it can be a bit confusing when you consider over 100 different interim items.

If someone wants to make the icons, I can hook them up to the various different items. The icons Amon referred to were already made, just not used properly. Right now the art team is rather overwhelmed, though, with other projects, so I wouldn't expect new food icons any time soon from them.

I have never played confectioner (well - not really)

Can someone make a list of all the items that want icons. I might be able to pop out a few in between other projects.

The Draconic Celebration Cake has it's own Icon. Most of the "normal" dishes don't - you can look at the tavernkeepers stock too

lol - The draconic celebration cake has an icon because LO ran into me ingame when he was making the quest and I made him one and sent it to him. Well two actually - one for the cake and one for the slice

But, someone else has already expressed interest in making some icons - so we'll see what can be done.

holy moly .. there's about 250 of them .. I can see why they do not have icons of their own.

Even if the icons were made - It'd take a long time for one of the devs to input all that data into Simdoc to use them.

I'm not sure that would be such a high priority - that new content and bug fixes are what is being worked on.

I don't know whether it is worth taking the time to make that many icons if no one is going to be able to input them so they can be used.

(disclaimer - not saying I'm not going to do anything with them - but trying to decide if it is worth the effort all things considered).

All regular foods (mains, sides, appetizers, and desserts) have an appropriate icon, we just hadn't assigned it properly.
