Oh well, I was pretty sure I posted in the delta 158 thread. Oh well, I'm loosing my sanity XD

anyway, I still haven't had the answer to my question. Will the Dralk community lair portal ever be used ?

Perhaps you did, Zex, and simply clicked the wrong button. They certainly look the same, if you're just reaching for one with your mouse.

yep, one that is in the community lair
We built the room not long after the first VI patch.

I think I recall a response way back when that this was put in by TG in the last delta they had, reason unknown.

There was a rather enthusiastic discussion for the pros/cons behind it.

I remember that discussion.
Even if the portal is made dragon-only, I think it would be nice (as well as agreeing with lore) tu use that portal to go to Drakul.
Dragons having a 'hidden' portal deep in their lair to go to their 'secret' island sounds good to me.

I vaguely remember reading this when I first found the game and was going over the forums to learn as much as possible.

Then I forgot it even existed.

It would be nice to make it do something, and I agree that a port to Drakul from there would be a neat use for it. Even if it's not used for much, it should be used even a little as it's there, and it'd make a nice little lore tie-in.

How about a portal to the lost colony. But it should be accesible only after you have completed your RoP. Make it a quest type if you like. An npc could enlist your help because they feel you are ready to help reclaim the Lost Colony. And in order to do so effectively they have created a portal to the top of it to help in the eventual dragon reinvasion of it. Something along those lines.

If you can fly. Stand in front of the cave with the Pawn Broker and Consign and fly up. It will be ahead once you crest the cliff top. Running follow the road out of Dralk to the switch back on the left run up the road past the first pass on the right that leads to the Gem Master and Stone Masters. it will be just ahead on the right.

you can also get there by following passageways from the portal entrance around 23122/28748, by sokdelak. there's a maze of passageways under dralk, i got soooo lost - but there was some nice storage there to put forms for folks to help themselves to.
