I'll load up my laptop and do a fresh install, its using a client that still has tulga games as the dir, apparently. Had previously been reluctant to redownload/install because it takes a long time...

Subsequently, I'll be able to test more of my own stuff off the fresh install.

We've launched a new method for downloading and installing the game. Internal testing has been great with it, and we've had a few new customers who were having difficulty with the torrent download try this new options, but we would like more before we call it "official". This download is considerably more forgiving if a file is dropped, connection lost, or other problem happens during download, and from everything we've seen very self correcting.

If you, or someone you know, is planning to try to install Istaria "fresh", please point them to our community website and the new "Resumable Game Download" option. Customers will find the new "user friendly" download on our website at: http://community.istaria.com/pg.php/download

Heh, so does mine, and I installed from the original disks too.....

Anyway, I have a friend who's been meaning to try this game that I might be able to use as a test dummy for the new patcher. I'll give them a shout.

my wife just used it to try the new "Demo Account" and it came down fast with no problems
