That sounds cool, what is it and how do I get some? Titles and
Achievements is what we are calling a system that is part of the
Labyrinth project that lets players obtain numerous titles (through
the use of emblems) for their characters. Players will attain titles
through four methods: Quests, Slaying, Collecting and Using.

Quests – Titles obtained through the completion of various quests in
and around the Labyrinth, these will be directly related to the quest
or story. For example, “Unsung Hero” or “of the Iron Guard” are two examples of what
players will be able to obtain.

Slaying – The most straight-forward of titles, these are obtained by
getting Achievement “quests” from a particular NPC near the Labyrinth.
These “quests” will then track the number of kills of particular
monster types for the players and reward them with titles related to
that monster type. For example, “Scorpion-Slayer” or “Squasher” are
two potential titles players may see.

Collecting – As there is quite a bit of new loot in the Labyrinth, a
new type of title will be available through the use of Achievement
“quests”. These “quests” will track the number of times each player
loots a particular item or turns in certain items. “Relic Hunter” and
“Lore Seeker” are two potential titles.

Using – The final method by which players can obtain titles in the
Labyrinth is generically called “using”. Utilizing the same type of
Achievement “quest”, this system tracks the number of times a player
creates or uses a particular item or casts a specific spell.
“Purifier” and “Keymaster” are two potential titles for this system.

Well, that about covers the Titles and Achievement system. Now, for
a few quick Q&A.

Q: What if I don’t have an Achievement quest, will the game still
track my kills or looting or using?
A: No, that is one unfortunate side-effect of the system. You must
have a quest to enable tracking of your actions.

Q: Where will I store all of these wonderful emblems? I’m already
out of storage!
A: The team is considering ways of assisting players with the storage
of emblems, but at this time we have not yet come up with a solution
that satisfies everyone’s concerns. Keep checking back for further
information on this.
