Ran into one of these guys last night with Bigputz, he opened up hitting me with an ability I believe was called distortion rift which decreased all of my spell ranges by 40. The ability seems to be working fine, though -40 spell range (of which it could continuously keep it on me) seems a bit extreme as most spells have a range of 30 or less normally, effectively making any spells or spell like abilities I had impossible to cast.

That sounds like one guy I'd avoid if I werea caster alone in a dark alley.[:|]
