The second animation looks a bit...sexual. <_<
Anyway, I hope you'll fix the water elemental graphics while you're at it.

And here I always thought the chains were to keep the crystals from floating away. Silly me.
Seems random objects coming to life is part of the Ageis plans for gaining control of Istaria. What next will they bring to life? A mountain!?
Hmmmm a man eating mountain.... I want one.

It's not really the esoteric evocation that bothers me, I suppose. I apologise to the animator, but I feel that that animation cycle is just awful all around. There are so many spectacular alternatives, of which I'd write some examples, but what's the point? Virtrium doesn't even bother to tint the water elemental particle effects blue instead of greenish-black, so how could they be expected to polish this.

Face forward and you should be able to hear it now the only thing plugging your ears is your own fear. There is only one enemy and one of you so what is there to be afraid of ? Abandon your fear turn and face him, Don't give an inch. Now advance Never stop If you retreat you will age Be afraid and you'll die NOW SHOUT OUT YOUR NAME !!!
Sure! I'd go for some extraplanar beings with a side of random damage and resistance types... Have each 'eye' do a different damage/resistance type (flame, ice, blight, etc) and be individually targetable, but as you take them out the remaining types get stronger...
Sort of a 'dial-a-mob' - one has to think a bit before attacking to determine how to end up with the damage they're most resistant to while making sure the critter is weakest to their attacks.
What ever happened to mimics, piercers, bat swarms, and fungus that attacked with spore clouds? Last I knew those were "planned" for the labyrinth.

...and some giant miniature space hamsters
Hehe, hence my " " around planned. I didn't mean it in the sense that they were in the pipe to definately be created and added, just that they were part of the concept for the dungeon, initially.
Perhaps we need a beer summit to clear up our understanding of "planned". *grin*
