    Default WHere are the mobs?

Another question, I ran from dalimond more or less east for quite some time and didn't see 1 mob, I know they have moved since I last played but how best do we find them? All improvements aside if there aren't things to kill it just wont do ...

if you follow the path south towards tazoon youll hit some brown wolves. and heading east of dalimond you can find some grass beetles, they're a bit of the ways out, and not near any of the paths. the wolves however are right on the path (which seems silly to me to have an agro mob on the path of a quest given to new players)

Yes those wolves are there not far from Dali at all. :( I got smacked around by a whole pack of them walking by....*sigh* DP's are so fun ;)

    Thanks

    I will try those areas,

but are most the mobs gone, lessened in number? I'm all for getting rid of lag but not when it just involves emptying the world...

I'm having the same problem. I haven't played since Feb and just returned. I left my 14 archer outside of Dalimond. Are the wolves that was mentioned good for me to hunt? Where should I go?

I finally found a link to some map that had some mob locations, with out them it is very hard to find things to hunt, I think from what i saw you are best hunting on the island with kion and slannis, seemed there were mobs lvl 10-20 on that island now.

Low-level hunting isn't too bad overall at the moment. The hardest part is staying alive... finding something to kill isn't too bad, especially if you go after Golems or Treants!

Some other mob points in the Dalimond area,

Amethyst Golems - in Tiatha's old spawn spot just west of Dali.
Ruxus - in thier old spot on top of the moutain south of Dalimond.
Undead - in the Dead Pool south of Dali.
Brittle Fyakki - outside the Dead Pool entrances.
Brighter Tarantula - Outside the Dead Pool entrances alongside the Fyakki,
Treeants - southeast of Dali among the elms.

Yeah they do seem to need to add in a bit more mobs here and there. Sometimes it feels like I can run forever and not see one monster.

And at other times, you can't run 2 meters without being surrounded by monsters..[;)]
Ever tried to run past the golems near Parsinia to get to the smelter....?

You need to think more like a crafter. Try and gather some resources and mobs will be all over you. Don't look in the wide open spaces, look where crafters have to go. You'll find the mobs there, preying on the poor helpless crafters.
