OK this one is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out there but anyway who wants to live forever

What about an interface to send in-game achievements ("xyz has made it to level 15 Reaver!") to external applications like Facebook? There is an extensive Facebook API available to post notes on walls and such, or update the "what are you doing right now?" section -> "xyz is playing Istaria and just made level 15 Reaver!". Twitter also has an API and could be used for the same purpose - wowtwitter.com seems to be doing the same sort of thing.

Shouldn't be that difficult if you run an app on your PC that harvests the logs for information and sends via the API to your chosen Web 2.0 app. Would that be useful? It could be configurable to send to different FaceBook/Tweet accounts, perhaps multiple if desired. Might be just generally handy for guilds/groups/friends as well to keep in touch.

I was actually thinking of doing something like this anyway, and then wandered over to the forums and saw this! I think its a great way for people to see bits of the game that may not be in official screenshots and whatnot, looking forward to cooking something up ^.^

I am a student, and my school does a lot of stuff on line, and i never miss an opportunity to talk about this game. I saw this game launched, and all the chaos that ensued, and still to this day i feel that i have NEVER seen a game that has more potential than Horizons. While i have not always been able to keep a sub up, especially during the dark days, and even worse the lack of vista compatability, i have still always watched and followed this game, hoping that one day it will soar.

I am proud of the feats that Vi has made with Horizons. Rick Simmons and the ENTIRE Vitrium staff have done a wonderful job, and hopefully things will continue as such....now if only i could get that work around for linux to work....man i hate windows

o and i disagree with freeing Richival, last thing we need is more gnomes to step on....

Requirements

At least 8 posts per month
Posts must not be out of context - replying to someone's post and dropping the word Istaria is not appropriate. If you're genuine, then we want to encourage that, but shill posts are counter productive to what we're trying to do.

is this an and thing or an either/or thing?
i mean, do we have to blog and post or can we just blog? if it is both, i am assuming post made to this forum do not count?

I made a ads/ music videos for Istaria with a viet metal songs in the background. I made two with the same images but two different songs. Everyone, please check out the requirements thing again. I know I'm having a dickens of a time using the facebook blog. Apparently there are certain hoops that have to be jumped through for facebook to count.
