Google Ads and You

We've kicked off the Google Ad words campaign again for Istaria.

In brief, how it works is that we can have short phrases that will highlight what Istaria is. Then when someone searches for a related term, our ad will appear under the "Sponsored Links" section.

For example:
Definitive Crafting MMO
Quarry stone, mold bricks
Build your home in Istaria online

This will come up right now if you were to google "MMORPG crafting" (or at least it should.)

We're looking for some more of these phrases to attract players to Istaria on a successful hit. The criteria for the ads are:

headline: 25 characters
description 1: 35 characters
description 2: 35 characters

So for all you word-smiths out there, here's your opportunity to summarize Istaria in as few characters as possible. You can either post your ideas here, or submit them to us via a support ticket.

*thumbsup* I just did it, and it was great to see Istaria in the ads section.

Off the top of my head, keywords placed together could be 'dragons' and 'MMO'/'MMORPG', since Istaria's playable dragons are unique.
Other mmos have dragons, but they're only npcs--people will be looking for information on them.

Nevermind, just did a search, you're already several steps ahead of me!

Don't know if you used key words for "Role Playing Game" -- I did a search, refreshed a few times and saw Lord of the Rings Online, but not Istaria.

So maybe something like:

Online Role Playing Game
11 fantasy races, 50 classes
Find your adventure in Istaria

I know they're called schools, but "classes" may be more familar. I'll see if I can think of more. Google ads are tough because they are so short and confining! Good luck with this!

I think you should put salt rock back in like it was originally. Then you could put the famous 'Salt Rock is not a bonus' in the ad line. It's odd enough it might attract attention.

By the same token, you could always go with '**** fine cobretti'. (If anyone remembers that, lol)

Those ads come up with pages when people do searches, I used adwords when I had a business. The keywords are important.
