The picture is me (lvl 100 STMD using 95 handwraps) vs. a lvl 100 Mithril Boulder Golem, probably the most resistant mob to Monks in the game. My strength comes from 100 Fitter, Gift of Str V, Str Platinum Jewelry, lvl 91 Triple Teched Essence Leather (6 with STR V), and Promote Vitality 4. Had I gotten Surge of Str/Enhance Str/Promote Vit V, I could have had 1868 Str.

To be honest, I was thoroughly impressed with this damage, I really felt pretty powerful once I started hitting for 100's without any specials. For the record though, I did have Power Style + Nature's Fury up.

Another thing to note: as a level 74 Flame Disciple, when I kick in melee Flurry, I do around 350+ damage every "hit" (flurry is of course 4 hits at once, + 4 more from the Fists of Flame). I've been able to drop 4 lvl 90+ Fire Opal golems down in one minute (melee flurry duration), it's absolutely insane.

Moral of the story: Monks can become powerful. It just takes entirely too much work. Hope a dev doesn't see this and nerf me[:#]

Hehe, i am working on this goal too (Cleric for T5-buffs and Fitter for the Strength).
