trouble with quest

I had to make 70 bronze bars for Althanas the Great. The top of the quest says to make them and bring them back to her. So I made them and now, instead of saying go back to her, it is saying to go to Xarinnis. Xarinnis is not in Chrois or Drak. Is this quest broken?

No not exactly. But the very first quests have been moved to xarrinis (sp?) in either Parsinia or Kion. Sitting on top of the vault. The quests used to all start from each individual trainer, but have been moved to xarinnis for the very first one to make them easier to find for new players. From your description, it sounds like the quests can still be started from the individual trainers, but need turned in to Xarinnis.

After you turn those bars in, the next quest in that line will start with Althanas and she is also who you will turn them in to.

The quest was still in Althanas' quest book but it will be removed with the next patch. And there will be reminder directions as to where Xarannis is as well.
