Could not Verify SSL certificate

I pulled up the game today and updated it.... it went non-respinsive and I cannot log into it because whenever I type in my email and password, THIS comes up:

The remote certificate is invalid according to the violation procedure.

This may indicate a problem resolving host names, or it could be an attempt to hijack account information.
If the problem persists please contact support.

Press OK to exit.

I just tried logging in and got the same message...all I was able to do before getting it was click on the 'Login' button. Anyone got any ideas?

Was playing just fine 'til I crashed out a minute ago and experiencing the same issue when trying to log back on...

From the support on this issue posted in 2009:
Solutions:
1. Verify you have run windows update and downloaded at least all root certificates updates (you should always get the latest windows updates)
2. Verify that your windows system clock has the correct time and date.

Neither is an issue on my side, atleast the windows update doesn't flag any new when run and clock is synched.

Wow, alot of people. I was afraid it was my computer going insane again! Well.... I'm updating a few things on windows, but still not fixing the problem. I was in the middle of a rp too....

I entered one a few minutes ago. Waiting patiently for an answer.

Setting the clock in windows back a day allows logging in again, for those of us that are as desperate for our daily Hz fix like me...

Well I am having the same problem here...seems like the game launcher or server has crashed or something.
I was on a few hrs ago and now I cannot log in with username and password

Happened for me almost exactly 15 minutes ago. It seems it happens at random.... perhaps the update?

Same problem, but I set my windows clock back, and it works now. :3

I am having this same exact problem. Setting the date back a few days worked for me though.
