Thread: Purdy Icons Please

I've looked at the Vals Icons V2.4 thats on the CD website this morning.

I downloaded and unzipped directly into resources_override into an unmodded copy of the game.

Logged in a dragon and I could see the replacement icons.

This was on an XP system.

I can't see anything wrong with the archive or the description on CD so I'm thinking its either a clash with something or maybe a vista/win7 permission issue (like with the map pack).

As for changing a command line. You don't need to alter any files, unless the path specified to resources_override has been changed. However as a default setting the game points to resources_override.

Hmm I have XP also. I've tried it twice and it doesn't do a thing. Did I maybe get a dragon mod? I'm a gnome.

Nope but the bulk of the icons are for dragons.

    Any other mods installed?

There's nothing about that on the Crimson Dawn website where
they do say to do this for map pack.

It sounds like you may have unzipped it into the wrong place.

    After unzipping, look in Horizons\resources_override\
and in that folder, you should see "interface". If not, then you should unzip it again into another location, maybe a folder on the desktop. Then from there copy "interface" folder directly into the Horizons\resources_override\. Then log in and check again.
