C'gan, I'll be in the Fort Lauderdale area. When I checked, it was 67 there. Though I see it has gotten quite a bit colder since. If it stays that way, I'll certainly be identifying myself as a northerner wearing shorts when it is 50 showing off my bright white legs.

Wed or Thurs next week. Hopefully leaving the dogs and snowshoes with someone who can make use of them. Have a bit of winter stuffs that I've been finding homes for. Will be my luck that I will end up having a winter storm the day that I go and need some of them.

I get to go to Colorado once my exams are over. Funny thing is, it'll be 20 degrees warmer than here in Jersey so I'll get to go back to sweatshirt and jeans.

I'm moving there as well at the end of the month to Orlando. I just got back from my trip there from the past few days, after checking out college and getting apt set up.

Kinda hijacking C'gan's topic but...

I'm now residing in a hotel room until I find some place to call home. Normally when I've moved in the past, I had a chance to go to the new area and set up a place before I go. But everything happened so fast this time that I was unable to. So here I am staying in a hotel with a very upset bird looking and not finding anything suitable to me. Hopefully I'll get some good leads from a Realtor tomorrow who is a family friend of a person at the new job. Really want to get something nailed down before my belongings arrive. Which it appears won't be until after Christmas now because the moving company can't seem to find a driver to bring them.

Meh.

Moving companies SUCK! All of my stuff is still in a warehouse back in Wisconsin. It has been over a week since they picked them up. After calling them every day and getting the same "We have not gotten a driver assigned to it yet. We will let you know as soon as we do." They finally informed me that they will be loading my stuff on a truck and it will be on it's way tomorrow but it might be as late as late next week before they arrive. So here I have a new place to live but no furniture to go in it so I'm still in a hotel. And no tools to perform my trade so I really can't do much at the new job. Wonderful.

An apology is not going to be sufficient for this one...
