Okay... so ever since the new patch was implemented, /em [text] double-posts your name. Example:

/emote sits down.
- would get this:
Player Player sits down.
-Instead of:
Player sits down.

I figure this is a result of tacking on a playername on the emote-only box trick used to seamlessly parapost. While i am rather livid about this change in and of itself, because it ruins immersion for roleplayers who want to post more than is allowed by the game's chatbox parameters, that's another topic for another day and I -do- understand the reason it is being done.

Now, using the old emote box trick DOES allow you to get a regular emote: Example.

Sits down.
-You would get:
Player sits down.

However, this is not an ideal fix for the problem. I don't know about everybody else, but i'm very used to /emote commands and i don't want to have to replace them with a seperate chatbox!
