is the queen suppose to drop the hair on every death? if not that kind of blows seeing how long it takes to kill her for such a valuable reward. was in doom the other day and she did not drop a myloc queen hair.

No, none of the Epics have a guaranteed drop of their special items. That is by design. You have a good chance of getting a rare epic of some sort from them (Valkor, Shaloth, Reklar), but it is not (and imho should not) be a guaranteed thing.
