Fatal error

I have installed and patched istaria now but it said after the I had launched everything that i should delete a file (i can't remember witch one) to work correctly, I deleted it and when I was going to play it came an error report that said excatly like this:
FATAL ERROR: Could not create rendering device. Please check your Direct3D setup. : 0 @ .\source\ClientErrors.cpp:797
