Thread: Ashlander's Tomb Chest?

    Question Ashlander's Tomb Chest?

    Hi everyone

Is there any way to open that chest within Ashlander's Tomb? Damaging it isn't possible, getting no key from killing Ashlander Vandus (many times now), nothing to loot from his guardians as well, nobody in clerics tower to give a quest to open it or so.

Is there just somewhere hidden a quest to open that chest or is it just decoration in there?

At this time there is no way to open the chest.

Umm, I hate to contradict the great Amon. However....
That chest in Ashlander's tomb _can_ be opened last I knew.

Requirements: Cleric School, Complete Holy Symbols quests in
    Dalimond, and Lvl 40.

Bishop in Cleric's tower will give a special Jeweled Key that is
the only known method of opening said chest. Reward is a
pretty spiffy Tech kit and Emblem which I cannot recall the
    details of exactly.

    Hope this helps,

    You are right
Just did the quest, thank you I had totally overlooked that one.
First you do the holy symbol one for which you need the key to recover the last symbol from ashlander. You get the emblem: protector of the past. Then you do the sequal "symbol of life" for which you receive the armor tech "symbol of istaria""

Ah, thank you for the clarification. I had forgotten about that quest.

Not only biped but you must be a Cleric only. Like Helian Tomb is dragon only.
And no it can't be used more than once. No need either cause the only thing in the chest is a quest item.
