Got work (of a sort)!
After almost a decade of not programming and staying home to raise family, I got a gig doing some volunteer software development. This is an excellent way to get back in form, and it's a project I will enjoy. (The kids are becoming adults or nearly so -- Malaquion will be out of HS this year, her younger sibs over the next couple. So I'm preparing for a couple years out.)
It looks like real life will consume me for a while -- I have not been able to be around lately, and it won't get any better soon. So not exactly goodbye, but... I can only stop in from time to time. So I will, and will come back when this is finished.
