Try re-setting your internet..I just had the same problem a few minutes ago, kinda freaked me out and almost had a heart attack.
*swats the game* I re-setted my internet and everything worked again.

Very strange, I was getting error 12, I rebooted my computer, got a Windows Genuine Advantage popup, let it do its work and now its letting me login. Could just be coincidence.

While investigating tonight's incident, we discovered and corrected a misconfiguration that would certainly explain the weirdness happening over the last few weeks. Hopefully the rash of login issues has been resolved. Please continue to report login issues and open support tickets if possible.

We also found out that you MUST close and restart the launcher if it produces a connection error dialog box. If you simply hit OK and try hitting the login button again, the launcher will always continue to produce a connection error dialog box, even if the connection to the server has been restored.
