Loricatus Beetle Carapace

I cannot find a single Loricatus Beetle Carapace on any of the Loricatus Beetles in New Trismus, both small and regular. I hunted them for over an hour and got nothing other than trophies, junk items, and thoraxes. This was after completing the quest 'Kerian's Quest: Learn how to technique a claw!', though considering that she gave you the technique 'Adventure: Dragon Breath I' to keep, I assume that it would be craft-able later on as well.

On another note, multiple times during the quest 'Kerian's Quest: Learn to technique a spell!', Agh'kuk Gatherers are still referred to as Sand Pygmies by both Kerian and the text that appears in the chat tab. Also, at one point the chat tab text commands that you hunt the pygmies for their ears, rather than to prove your strength as Kerian's dialogue states. I do have screenshots of these errors if proof is needed.

I did this quest just a couple weeks ago and got the carapaces for the quest from the Sand Beetles at 461/152 on New Trismus.

I'm looking for the carapaces to complete a technique, not the quest.

I dont think you want the ones on New Trismus for comps (I could be wrong). Try the Loricatus beetles in Kion. NW from the arrival pad along beach. 200/246. Click here for to see on map.

There is more than one quest that will require those carapaces.

As Cega said, try outside Kion along the shoreline for the technique components.

Yes, the beetles on Lesser Aradoth drop the carapaces. That's one problem solved. Thanks guys.
